The ESO Dov-Rha Sabatons Lead locations are listed from easy to hardest to get. The mythic Dov-Rha’s Sabatons add up to 13.200 Armor when sprinting will last 20 seconds after you stop, and do a huge AoE damage 1 second after you stop. It’s perfect for tanking.
1 item Bonus:
While Sprinting gains a stack of Draconic Scales every 0.5 seconds, granting you 660 Armor, up to 20 stacks max.
Upon stopping you deal X Physical damage per stack in an 8-meter shockwave.
Gain a damage shield equal to the damage dealt, and retain Draconic Scales for 10 seconds but cannot gain new stacks.
At 20 stacks, this damage will also stun for 3 seconds. The damage scales off the highest Physical or Spell Resistance.
You will need High Isle, Scalebreaker, and Greymore DLCs to be able to get this mythic.
ESO Dov-Rha Sabatons lead locations:
Lead Name | Zone | Lead Location |
---|---|---|
Dov-Rha Sabaton Guard | Lair of Maarselok Dungeon | Chance to drop from Maarselok, the final boss |
Dov-Rha Sabaton Heel | Sunspire Trial | Chance to drop from any Dragon in the dungeon |
Dov-Rha Sabaton Lames | Northern Elsweyr Zone | Chance to be found in any Safebox in the zone |
Dov-Rha Sabaton Poleyn | Moongrave Fane Dungeon | Chance to drop from any enemy in the dungeon |
Dov-Rha Sabaton Toe Cap | Southern Elsweyr Zone | Chance to be included with Psijic Portal rewards |
The Dov-Rha Sabatons guards have a chance to drop on the final boss in Lair of Maarselok. This is a fairly easy dungeon, and you could just use the Dungeon Finder to get it. The Heel can drop from any Dragon in the Sunspire trial and the Poleyn drop from random mobs in Moongrave Fane. I was lucky to get my leads on the first run in each dungeon and in Sunspire I got the lead on the first dragon. I am not sure if this is guaranteed to drop or if it was just my luck.
The Psijic portals in Southern Elsweyr were a pain, but loot all runestones to make room for Psijic portals and you might increase the speed of this drop.
I got the Safebox drop in my second box, again probably just luck.
Mythics & Antiquities
Since they are a Mythic item, the ESO Dov-Rha Sabatons can only be used if the player has discovered and finished all five of the Leads that go with them.
These Leads can be discovered in many different places across Tamriel, and after being discovered, they can be Scryed to locate one of five bits. However, after achieving Level 7 in the Scrying skill tree, players must have Level 4 Antiquarian’s Insight in order to Scry these Master-level Leads.
Once you have located each Lead, proceed to the excavation area and search for a dig site in the region that has been marked. The Dov-Rha Mythic item will instantly be finished and added to your inventory once all five of the Sabatons’ components have been successfully scryed and every Antiquity fragment located. Just be careful not to use any boots that are crucial to your equipped sets because doing so will occupy that armor slot.
A Mythic pair of boots called the Dov-Rha Sabaton provides a special boost while sprinting. The user accumulates a stack of Draconic Scales up to a total of 20 every half a second when Sprinting. 660 resistance pr stack to a total of 13.200 armor and spell resistance after 10 seconds. The buffs last 20 seconds after you stop moving.
The Dov-Rha Sabatons deal physical damage AoE damage in the immediate radius and provide a damage shield dependent on the total number of Draconic Scales piled when the player stops sprinting.
The Dov-Sabatons Rha’s also stun opponents nearby if a maximum of 20 stacks are used. Although it is a very unique effect, it might be challenging to estimate when is the optimal time to begin sprinting in order to properly maximize its damage in battle.
This Mythic is worthwhile to try out because of the mobile playstyle it promotes.
Best Tank Mythic Item
You can see a list of the best monster helmets here.
When it comes to the best Tank mythic, there is only Dov-Rha Sabatons. This gives you Armor, a nice AoE to get aggro, and a damage shield to keep you safe until the healer arrives on the scene. It will take practice to make it work, and it will probably be a waste in raids, but in a group setting or for a Tank PvP Build it is by far the best mythic in ESO.
