Beware of ADO (A Dece Oasis) IndieGogo campaigns as they are SCAM.
You will get your bike, but you will not attain the 40%+ discount promised in the campaign.
ADO (A Dece Oasis) has launched multiple successful campaigns on IndieGogo, delivering bikes to Backers.
They are however playing fast and loose with the sticker price when they offer a 40% early bird discount on the new ADO Air Carbon e-bike.
ADO Air Carbon e-bike SCAM
The ADO Air Carbon e-bike’s sticker price during the IndieGogo campaign was 2.999,- Euros, as seen in the screenshot above (all screenshots in this article were taken on June 6th, 2024).
But as soon as the campaign ended (June 5th), ADO offered the ADO Air Carbon on their website, with a sticker price of 2199,- and to add insult to injury, they instantly offered a “Crazy Summer Sale” discount of 200,- Euros.

IndieGogo Scam or not?
I do not know if IndieGogo has any responsibility for this SCAM, but I guess ADO is not the only one pumping up its sticker prices when launching an IndieGogo campaign.
I do however know, that this makes IndieGogo untrustworthy in my book since their vetting process leaves a great deal to be had.
I was and am still very happy with my decision to buy the ADO Air Carbon, but I am sorry that I promoted the campaign here on the website. I am grateful that this promotion didn’t give any commission, since I would be very sad if I had a hand in cheating some people with a fake discount!
ADO Air Carbon Price
ADO Air Carbon Price ends up at 1999,- Euros, a full 1.000,- euros under the IndieGogo Campaign sticker Price. This is without mudguards and a rear rack that will cost you another 99,- Euros.
Value for money is hard to determine at this point, as I haven’t gotten mine yet, but looking at the reviews on Youtube this will be the folding bike to beat in the coming years.
I would have loved the Bafang motor from the ADO 20 Pro, but I guess A Dece Oasis is saving for the next iteration which will surely be called ADO Air Carbon Pro.
